The Tournament of Kings dinner show at Excalibur

In the era of castles and gallant knights, kings would gather the nobility for fanciful feasts and tournaments of valor in celebration of important events. Those days still exist inside Excalibur during the award-winning Tournament of Kings jousting dinner show which transports the audience to King Arthur’s court, complete with characters such as his son Christopher, and Merlin the magician. Scenes include the Round Table, jousting and pyrotechnics. The traditional showroom is transformed into King Arthur’s Arena, a 900-seat circular theater with an earthen floor.

The production show has a sizable cast of 44 actors and musicians, and 38 horses. The cast becomes even larger when the audience of 900 is encouraged to become a part of the production by supporting the characters with singing and cheering.
