National Finals Rodeo

Across the state of Nevada, from small towns to the metropolis of Las Vegas, cowboys and cowgirls gather to celebrate western heritage and culture and showcase their rodeo skills. During the National Finals Rodeo, the “Superbowl of Rodeos,” and the World Championship Bull Riding competitions in Las Vegas, riders compete for championship purses worth tens of thousands of dollars.

Rodeo events include rough stock bull riding, bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding and children’s “mutton busting.” Timed events include steer wrestling, team roping, calf roping and women’s barrel racing.
