The Victory and New Cosmos at the
Guardian Angel Cathedral

This creation places its emphasis on the mystical reality of the cross, through which Christ, the victor, restores order and peace to the universe. The victorious Christ is surrounded by a whirlpool of orange circles, the New Cosmos, which, with ever-increasing speed turns around the true man. Rays of light coming from the wound on the side of Christ, symbolize love. Only the feet of Christ are nailed to the cross. Both of his hands are flying free testifying that his crucifixion is a voluntary act of Sacrificial Love.
