Couples participating in “Once Upon 100 Weddings”
in downtown Las Vegas
As part of the Centennial celebration, 100 couples, selected from an online contest, were treated to a wedding experience of a lifetime. They tied the knot
in a mass wedding ceremony under the Fremont Street Experience canopy.
Of the 100 couples, two were from Las Vegas; 94 were selected from Southwest Airlines/Las Vegas feeder markets, including Seattle, Los Angeles, Oakland, Chicago, Phoenix, Baltimore, Philadelphia, San Diego and Houston through a variety of television and radio promotions; and the other six were chosen by promotions in Las Vegas’ top international markets, including Germany, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Korea, France and Australia.
